Security

We take many precautions to protect our customers' information. These precautions protect sensitive information from loss, misuse, theft, and unauthorized alteration. Security procedures are implemented during all primary aspects of data handling, including: transmitting, storage, and authorizing access.

We take every precaution to protect information transmitted through our web site, as well as our clients' web sites. When personal and sensitive account information is required, such as a password, credit card number, or other banking information, we protect its transmission through the use of industry-standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption certificates. Encryption strength is determined by the supported level of a user's browser. In most cases, a 128-bit or 256-bit encryption level will be used. Most web browsers provide additional certificate information by clicking an icon near the browser's address bar when the secure connection is activated.

Information stored on our servers is protected electronically by industry–recognized safeguards such as firewalls and secure login systems. Sensitive information stored in our databases, such as passwords, are saved using one-way encryption methods. We do not store full bank account or credit card numbers in our databases, however, the last four digits of these account numbers may be saved for reference and identity verification purposes.

Our web site and databases are hosted by The WebME Company. http://www.webmecompany.com. The servers are housed and maintained in secure locations. Physical access is restricted to authorized personal only. Access requires an appointed key card with a state of the art biometric authentication. Additionally, the premises is monitored with 24-7 video surveillance.

If you have any questions or concerns about our security practices or The WebME Company's security practices you may email us at webmaster@varsityclub.biz or The WebME Company at contactus@webmecompany.com.

Among the web technologies used on our web site are cookies. Cookies are alphanumeric "text" files transferred to your computer's hard drive through your web browser by the web site you are visiting. A cookie will normally contain the name of the domain from witch it came, an expiration date, and a stored value, which is typically a unique identification number. Cookies may be used in several ways: they allow us to verify the login/registration status of a user, help track statistical information of a user, and store items related to return visits for customer convenience, such as a username or the item contents of a shopping cart.

A cookie issued from our web site will never store personal information. Most help menus located in the browser's toolbar will tell you how to clear existing cookies, prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, have your browser notify you when a new cookie is received, or disable cookies altogether. If you choose to disable cookies, you may still use our site; however, you may have restricted access to some areas within those sites, such as areas that require a login. Use of Web Beacons

Among the other web technologies used on our web site and email communications are web beacons. Web beacons are typically single-pixel GIF images "hidden" in the content of the web site or email message. Web beacons report only a limited amount of information, such as a cookie identifier, IP address, browser type and version, ISP host information, time and date of when the content was viewed, and a description of the page on which the web beacon resides.

A web beacon on our web site and email communications will never report personal information. Because web beacons are images, they usually cannot be declined when residing in a web site.
